Fish It Pets Tier List

The Copper Canyon update changed Fish It in a big way. It didn't just drop a new area into the game, but it brought something the community had actually been asking for since forever. Now there are lots of pets in Fish It, and if you want to know which one to get first, here is the tier list for you.

Fish It Pet Tier List

Best Pets in Fish It

The Axolotl and Arctic Fox are the best pets in Fish It right now, and it's not a close contest. Both give you +70 Luck, the highest in the game, plus an auto-catch every 22 seconds, with only a 3-second recharge. That combo of passive fish collection and massive luck is unmatched.

I personally think the Axolotl looks cooler, but they're completely identical in stats, so pick whichever one you like more. The only downside with these pets are the drop rate. At a 1% drop rate, you're statistically looking at around 100 egg pulls to land one, which comes out to roughly 10,900 Robux.

That's real money, and you should go in knowing that before you start pulling. However, if you have all the Robux in your wallet, then these are definitely S-tier pets to get.

A-Tier Pets in Fish It

The Penguin and Seal are excellent pets that sit just a step below Secret tier. You get +40% Luck and an auto-catch every 35 seconds, with 5-second recharge. The auto-catch is noticeably slower than Secret pets, but it's still completely passive progress.

At a 5% drop rate, these are far more realistic to actually pull, which is why I rate them so highly. If a Secret pet is out of your budget, a Mythic is the next best thing.

B-Tier Pets in Fish It

Capybara and Polar Bear both give Luck +20% and an auto-catch every 65 seconds with a 6-second recharge. The gap between Legendary and Mythic auto-catch is pretty significant. You need to wait nearly twice as long between catches. However, having any form of passive fishin is still better than nothing.

At an 8% drop rate, these are the most achievable auto-catch pets in the game, which makes them a solid target if you are a mid-game player who want to step up your farming game.

The Tabby Cat only gives Luck +4%, which is the lowest stat in the game. But it's completely free. You get it by completing the Helping Hand quest, and there's zero reason not to grab it before you spend a single Robux. That's why I put it in B-tier.

C-Tier Pets in Fish It

The Cow, Lynx, and Wolf all give Reel Speed +30%, and they're all tied in terms of stats. There's no auto-catch here, so these pets are best suited for active players who sit at their rod the whole session and want to churn through casts faster. Reel Speed is a fine stat for that playstyle. At 15% drop rates, Epic pets are the most accessible non-free option.

D-Tier Pets in Fish It

The Otter gives Reel Speed +18%, which is underwhelming compared to the 30% you get from Epic pets. It's not useless, but you'll want to replace it quickly. Rare pets are basically what you'll get a lot of in the early stage of pulling eggs, and they're fine starters, just not something you'd hold onto long-term.

I left the Ferret and Frog unranked for now since their stats are still not found yet. Once the developers confirm their effects, I will slot them into this tier list properly. Keep an eye on updates!
