Best NPCs in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

Elite Daigo is the best hire in the game right now. A Medic Specialist follows you throughout the match and throws healing items in your direction, which means you have a passive health safety net mid-game. In the later circles where healing items become scarce, having Daigo behind you is genuinely game-changing.

John Wick earns his S-tier placement because of the combat value he provides. In a season where build-heavy players are common, having John Wick on your side turns two-on-one situations significantly more manageable. He is west of Calamari Canyon near the fishing boat store, which is a relatively low-traffic area making the pickup clean.

A Tier

Heatwave PJ

Heatwave PJScout SpecialistSoutheast Latte Landing350 Gold Bars

Heatwave PJ is a solid pickup but falls short of S tier because the Scout Specialist ability, which automatically pings nearby enemies, chests, and ammo boxes in a small radius, is more useful early than late. Once the circle tightens and everyone is within range of each other anyway, the pings become less meaningful. Early game though, having PJ in your squad adds genuine map awareness that helps you make better routing decisions. Worth hiring if you drop near Latte Landing and have the gold to spare.

B Tier

Dylan

DylanSupply SpecialistHeatwave Harbor350 Gold Bars

Dylan is the weakest of the four specialists. Supply Specialists automatically drop useful items like ammo and throwables during matches, which sounds helpful but is not the best. Ammo is also relatively easy to find through regular looting, which makes Dylan's role feel redundant compared to what the other three specialists bring. Not a waste of 350 gold, but definitely the last Specialist you should be considering.

The non-specialist NPCs all charge 500 Gold Bars for a single one-off service per match, and none of them offer enough value to justify seeking them out specifically. The three Rift NPCs offer quick repositioning which has situational use, but again the cost versus benefit does not hold up compared to what the Specialists provide for 150 gold less.
