Best Businesses in GTA Online
Kosatka Submarine
The undisputed number one money maker in GTA Online despite multiple nerfs over the years. The Cayo Perico heist still pays around one million dollars in approximately one hour of gameplay as a solo player, which nothing else in the game can match. The Kosatka also unlocks the Sparrow helicopter, which is one of the most useful grinding tools available. If you only buy one property in GTA Online, this is it.
Nightclub
One of the best passive income sources in the game. The office safe generates around $50,000 every 48 minutes at full popularity, and the nightclub warehouse technicians can match that figure again by sourcing goods from your other businesses simultaneously. Combined you are looking at close to $100,000 per hour completely passively while you do other things.
Agency
Jumped up the rankings significantly after the Moneyfronts update introduced skippable cutscenes for the Dr. Dre contract. What previously took over 90 minutes can now be completed in around an hour for a $1 million payout. On top of that the Agency offers security contracts, pay phone hits at $45,000 each, and a safe that generates up to $20,000 every 48 minutes once maxed out. One of the most well-rounded businesses in the game.
Mansion
Technically not a traditional business but the production speed boost makes it essential for any serious grinder. Applying the boost to any passive business triples its production speed for 24 hours with no cooldown since you can apply it to a different business each day. A fully boosted bunker fills in under four hours. A fully boosted acid lab produces a bar in under two hours. The mansion also includes a master control terminal and the fastest travel system in the game. Expensive at a minimum of $11 million but the return on investment is enormous for active players.
Acid Lab
The most beginner-friendly business in the god tier. All sale missions are designed for solo players so you never end up with multiple delivery vehicles. It generates over $60,000 per hour passively and the sales themselves take around five minutes. When combined with the mansion production boost you can run a full cycle in under an hour. Cheap to acquire and simple to operate, this is one of the first businesses any player should invest in.
Hangar
After significant updates adding land-based source and sell missions, experienced players can make upwards of $700,000 per hour with the hangar. Land missions are significantly faster than air missions which is what makes this viable at this level. The Higgins Helitours business also provides a 10% income boost.
Arcade
The main draw here is the Diamond Casino Heist which pays over $2 million for a duo run in under 90 minutes.
Salvage Yard
Three distinct income streams make this one of the more well-rounded businesses available. Weekly vehicle robberies pay between $250,000 and $400,000 each. Tow truck missions generate over $100,000 per hour including the safe income.
