Best Class in Task Bar Hero

Ranger

Ranger is the strongest class in the game for both farming and pushing into higher difficulty content. Her Piercing Arrow ability cuts through groups of ranged enemies before they even get a shot off, which is a significant advantage in later stages where ranged enemies become the primary threat.

Hunter

Hunter is locked behind DLC but is one of the strongest classes available. Her Explosive Bolt ability is her defining skill, and with the right build she can out-damage Ranger quite easily. Quick Loader supports Explosive Bolt, keeping the damage flowing consistently. For builds where you are fighting enemies more gradually, Shock Bolt is worth considering since the sustained damage adds up well over time.

A Tier

Slayer

Slayer has one of the strongest damage output but his auto attack range is the shortest of any class, meaning he gets closer to enemies than anyone else and takes hits regardless of team positioning. There is no reliable way to fully tank for him, which is the main reason he sits in A rather than S.

Priest

Priest does not carry fights through damage but keeps everyone else alive long enough to do so. Her heal scales off a percentage of maximum HP which makes it more effective than flat healing as the game progresses.

B Tier

Sorcerer

Sorcerer deals strong AoE damage but cannot function without a tank in front of her. She has no sustain, cannot leech health, and her HP pool is low. This makes her the only DPS class that cannot operate independently, which limits how high you can push her without team support.

Knight

Knight is the most durable class in the game. His skill tree includes HP nodes, resistance options, and a damage reduction stat that Priest does not have access to, making him tankier in terms of pure survivability. His role is purely supportive with essentially no damage contribution. His value depends entirely on enabling other DPS classes to perform better. In a well-built team he is useful, but stronger late-game setups can bypass him entirely when running a well-geared Ranger.
