S Tier Weapons - Best Weapons in Where Winds Meet

These are the weapons you absolutely want to use. They're strong in almost every situation and will carry you through the game.

Soulshade Umbrella

This is one of the best support weapons in the game. The Soulshade Umbrella heals you over time and gives you damage buffs. What makes it so good is how flexible it is. You can quickly swap to it, activate your skills, then switch back to your main weapon to deal damage. It works great with literally any other weapon, which is why so many players use it.

Panacea Fan

If you want pure healing power, the Panacea Fan is your answer. It heals even better than the Soulshade Umbrella, though it doesn't give you damage buffs. You can grab this weapon right from the start, which makes it perfect for surviving those early fights. Sure, it doesn't hit very hard, but you can focus on parrying attacks and executing enemies while keeping yourself at full health. In multiplayer mode, this weapon becomes even more valuable because you can bring your teammates back to life.

Nameless Sword

This is a high-mobility DPS weapon that lets you dart in and out of danger mid-combo. It handles both single enemies and groups really well, so you can use it for just about any content in the game. If you like staying mobile and dealing consistent damage, this sword is for you.

A Tier Weapons - Solid Choices

These weapons are strong, although slightly lower class than the S tier options.

Heavenquaker Spear

The Heavenquaker Spear dominates when you're fighting groups of enemies. One of its skills gives you a damage buff based on how many hits you land, which is awesome for clearing crowds. The problem shows up when you're fighting bosses or single targets, it's really hard to stack up that damage buff, even with the right internal arts equipped.

Infernal Twinblades

These are fast, aggressive, and great for overwhelming enemies with rapid attacks. You can chase down enemies easily thanks to the high mobility. The Flamelash mode gives you some serious buffs too. However, this assassin-type weapon is not really good at defending and you need perfect gear set to make it into an S tier.

Nameless Spear

The Nameless Spear delivers excellent burst damage with its fast-hitting charged heavy attack. The skills reduce enemy Endurance, which helps you dish out even more damage. The weak point is the short range, you'll struggle against multiple ranged enemies, and you're always close enough for enemies to hit you back.

Strategic Sword

The Strategic Sword is all about stacking damage over time on enemies, then making it all explode for huge burst damage. But that's not all, this weapon also lets you move around really well. You can close gaps quickly or reposition yourself while attacking. It's got a nice mix of both offense and defense, making it super reliable.

B Tier Weapons - Not Bad

These weapons can work, but they're more niche and generally weaker than higher-tier options.

Thundercry Blade

This weapon hits slow but hard. Your charged attacks pack a serious punch, and you get shields based on your maximum HP, which lets you absorb some hits while charging up. It's perfect if you want to play as a tank. The frustrating part is that blocking or dodging cancels your charge, and you'll still need to use those defensive moves even with your shield up.

Stormbreaker Spear

This spear has one of the lowest damage outputs in the entire game because it focuses on defense instead. It gives you a decent damage reduction buff and can make enemies Vulnerable, which makes it okay as a secondary weapon. But honestly, it's a weaker choice unless you're specifically pairing it with the Thundercry Blade.

C Tier Weapons - Very Situational

Mortal Rope Dart

The Mortal Rope Dart attacks quickly and summons a Might Rat that keeps attacking enemies while you hit them. It's got decent range but lacks area damage. The Might Rat makes this weapon okay as a secondary choice, but the fact that it only lasts 10 seconds before you need to swap back and resummon it is kind of annoying. Similar to the Twinblades, you eed perfect gear set to make this weapon work well.

Vernal Umbrella

This weapon has the longest range in the game. You can use it as your main weapon or set it up like a turret. The charged light attacks let you float while dealing damage, which sounds cool but isn't actually safe. Enemies can still hit you while you're in the air, and you're vulnerable when you land because the move drains your stamina.

Inkwell Fan

The Inkwell Fan has good mobility and range, plus it can launch enemies into the air for combos. The problem is that the combo doesn't always work reliably. Sometimes enemies won't launch if they're in certain animations, or they might just dodge the attack if they're moving around too much.

Do keep in mind that this tier list reflects a general overview of how each weapon performs on its own. Some weapons placed in B or C tier can become significantly stronger when paired with the right gear sets, combat paths, or a playstyle that complements their strengths.
