S Tier Characters
Magik

Many players might question Magik being in S tier, but she performs incredibly well if you build the right path. Both of her build paths work, though your choice depends on the difficulty you are playing. Magik deals great damage while maintaining a decent health bar that lets her stay in fights longer than you would expect. The key is understanding which path works best for your difficulty level.
Blade

Blade earns his S tier spot mainly because of his lifesteal mechanic. The lifesteal alone makes him extremely hard to kill, even when surrounded by zombie hordes. He hits hard and probably has one of the highest damage capabilities in this mode across all characters.
What makes Blade stand out is how well he performs even in higher difficulties. While other characters start struggling around Nightmare 2 or 3, Blade continues to perform consistently. When your team goes down and you need to clutch a round, Blade can handle being the last one standing better than most other picks.
Thor

Thor is probably the strongest character in Zombie Mode. He has great sustain, excellent damage output, and remains viable across all difficulties. This combination makes him extremely strong and reliable, no matter what difficulty you choose to play. He does take a bit more time to come online compared to other S-tier characters, but through mid and late game, he is literally one of the best in the current playable roster.
A Tier Characters
The Punisher

Punisher can deal massive damage when fully built, but he falls into A tier instead of S tier for specific reasons. The main issue with The Punisher is that he functions as a late-game character. He needs time and upgrades to reach his full potential.
Playing Punisher in Nightmare 4 difficulty shows this limitation clearly. While teammates playing Magik or Blade outdamage Punisher consistently through most of the match, he eventually catches up once fully upgraded. The problem comes when your team goes down and zombies swarm you. Punisher struggles more in these situations compared to the S tier picks who can handle being alone better.
Once Punisher gets fully built with all his weapon trait upgrades, he becomes quite strong. However, getting to that point takes time, and the early to mid-game feels weaker compared to characters who perform well from the start.
B Tier Characters
Jeff The Land Shark

Jeff is a strong pick overall, but his solo capability does not match what the higher tier characters offer. Playing through higher difficulties shows this difference. After Nightmare 2, you rarely see Jeff players, and there are good reasons for that.
Jeff has decent damage and good sustain, which makes him feel reliable. The main issue is his reliance on teammates. When teammates go down you will feel you lack the damage for the time being.
The best aspect of Jeff in this mode is his flexibility. You can build him in almost any direction and still have success. This flexibility makes him a safe choice for newer players learning the mode, but experienced players pushing high difficulties will find better options in higher tiers.
Your personal experience might differ based on playstyle and team composition, but these rankings provide a solid starting point for choosing the best characters in Marvel Rivals Zombie Mode.
