S-Tier: Best Strikers in the English Premier League

Alexander Isak
While Isak has yet to score a goal for Liverpool this season, he remains one of the most dangerous strikers in the EPL. His presence on the field is always a threat to opposing defenders, and that says a lot about the quality of a striker.
Erling Haaland
There is no doubt that Haaland is the best striker in the EPL right now. In fact, he’s arguably the best striker across all leagues. The Norwegian has already scored 11 goals for Manchester City this season, and he’s guaranteed to score many more in the upcoming matches.
Jean-Philippe Mateta
This Crystal Palace forward is currently one of the best in the EPL. Mateta’s presence always poses a threat to the opposing team. He has scored 5 goals this season and is expected to add more. He’s a big reason why Crystal Palace had such a remarkable start to the season.
Joao Pedro
Joao Pedro has shown his worth with his dribbling skills and his ability to get past defenders and create many chances for Chelsea. Despite only having 2 goals so far, he remains a major threat in every game he’s played this season.
Hugo Ekitike
Ekitike has showcased his attacking prowess since the start of the season. With his ability to dribble, pass, and finish, he perfectly embodies what a complete modern striker should be. He’s a gifted forward who can also play as a winger with excellent passing flair, making him one of the top-tier strikers in the EPL.
A-Tier: Really Good Strikers in EPL

Nick Woltemade
Woltemade has performed exceptionally well for Newcastle and has proven to be a valuable asset for the team. Standing at 198 cm (6'6"), he handles the ball remarkably well for his height, and most importantly, he can score. He’s a threat both inside and outside the box, making him one of the most promising players in the EPL right now. Watching him play is always entertaining.
Ollie Watkins
This English striker is a valuable asset for Aston Villa right now. Despite having scored only one goal, he constantly poses a threat whenever he’s on the ball. His ability to swerve past defenders and create chances is what places him in a higher tier at the moment.
Viktor Gyokeres
Gyokeres is one of the hottest talking points in the league, and rightfully so. He’s a very talented striker who simply hasn’t had much luck this season. Despite the criticism he’s received, he remains a huge asset for Arsenal, having already scored three goals and created numerous chances for his teammates, and that’s what truly matters.
Kai Havertz
Kai Havertz is a talented player who can be very dangerous for opposing teams. His ability to create chances is undoubtedly impressive. He has the potential to be in the S-tier, but if we’re ranking based on current form, he’s not quite there yet. Nevertheless, he remains a great asset for Arsenal.
Benjamin Sesko
Benjamin Sesko is one of the most promising strikers in the EPL right now, with many fans expecting him to shine even more. He has the talent to do just that, but Manchester United’s current form makes it difficult for him to get enough chances. Despite not being at his best, he remains a quality striker with the ability to make clever flick passes and constantly pose a threat.
B-Tier: Not Bad

Danny Welbeck
Danny Welbeck has been sharp with his finishing and positioning this season. With 5 goals already, he continues to show great awareness by being in the right place at the right time. However, he is well past his prime, and his overall stats have declined, placing him in the mid-tier based on current form.
Dominic Solanke
Solanke hasn’t displayed his full capabilities with Tottenham this season. While he performed well in previous campaigns, he has yet to show his true potential this time around. However, based on current form, he’s been slightly better than his teammate, Richarlison.
Gabriel Jesus
If he had performed as well as he did over the last four years, he would easily be in the S-tier. However, his current form at Arsenal hasn’t been very promising. While he still possesses excellent dribbling skills and the ability to create threats, that hasn’t translated into consistent performances this season.
Jorgen Strand-Larsen
Larsen is one of the strikers in the EPL with great potential. He’s a solid finisher, strong in the air, and poses a real threat inside the box, just like a true striker should. However, his team’s current form has limited his ability to showcase his true potential, placing him in the mid-tier for now.
Liam Delap
Liam Delap arrived at Chelsea with high expectations to strengthen their attacking line. However, an injury has kept him from showing his full potential. Nevertheless, he’s set to return soon, and he remains a promising striker who could rise in the tier list if he performs well after recovery.
Richarlison
Richarlison hasn’t been able to replicate the form he showed in previous seasons. While he still poses a threat with his dribbling, passing, and ability to anchor attacking plays, his overall performance hasn’t matched the level of players in the S and A tiers.
Yoane Wissa
Wissa faces the same issue as Delap, he’s a talented striker sidelined by injury. However, once he returns, his potential as a forward could easily place him in at least the B-tier this season.
Chris Wood
Like Welbeck, Wood is a great player who’s already past his prime, but he still poses a threat to opposing teams whenever he’s on the field. He’s a straightforward striker who can score, exactly what Nottingham Forest needs this season. However, since he’s not as sharp as he was five years ago, he falls into the mid-tier.
C-Tier and D-Tier: Underwhelming and Struggling

The EPL strikers in the C and D-tier are currently not in their best form. Some are having a poor season, while others are struggling due to their team’s performance. A few are still young with limited opportunities to showcase their potential, and some are veterans whose abilities are starting to decline. Simply put, they’re not in a good spot in the EPL right now.
That concludes the tier list for the best English Premier League strikers in the current season. This list will be updated regularly to reflect the latest stats and performances throughout the season.
