S Tier Weapons: Best Weapons in Battlefield 6

M4A1

The M4A1 stands out as one of the strongest carbines available from the start. With a 900 rounds per minute fire rate and 25 damage per shot, it kills enemies faster than most assault rifles. The 30-round magazine provides enough ammunition for multiple engagements. The high fire rate makes it excellent for close-quarters combat, especially when hip-firing inside buildings or on objectives. You can use it on any class, making it versatile for different playstyles.

The main drawback is ammunition management. Even with extended magazines, you burn through ammo quickly if you hold down the trigger. Tap firing at medium range helps control both recoil and ammo consumption. The recoil is manageable with the right attachments, particularly vertical grips that reduce the kick. Players who learn to control the M4A1's fire rate will find it effective at almost any range.

KORD 6P67

The KORD 6P67 has the highest fire rate among assault rifles at 900 rounds per minute, making it one of the fastest killing weapons in the game. It deals 20 damage per shot with a 30-round magazine capacity. The weapon performs similarly to the AEK-971 from Battlefield 3 and 4, rewarding aggressive players who push objectives. Its mid-range focus makes it effective in most combat scenarios.

The weapon does have significant recoil and loses accuracy during sustained fire. At ranges beyond 40 meters, tap firing becomes necessary to land shots consistently. Within 40 meters, the high fire rate gives you a clear advantage in gunfights. With proper attachments focusing on recoil reduction, the KORD becomes more controllable while maintaining its deadly fire rate. The weapon unlocks through the Rapid Fire 1 assignment after inflicting 10,000 damage with assault rifles.

PW5A3

The PW5A3 works as an exceptional all-around submachine gun. It handles medium-range engagements better than other SMGs with its 771 rounds per minute fire rate and 25 damage per shot. The 30-round magazine provides enough ammunition for multiple kills without reloading. Iron sights work well on this weapon, freeing up attachment points for other improvements. The PW5A3 unlocks at Rank 6, making it accessible early in your progression.

A Tier Weapons

B36A4, SGX, L110, AK-205, M87A1, KTS100 MK8, NVO-228E, M2010 ESR, M1014, TR-7, KV9, AK4D, UMG-40, M417 A2, LMR27, M277

The A tier consists of solid weapons that perform well but come with notable trade-offs compared to S tier options. The B36A4 serves as a reliable assault rifle with 720 rounds per minute and 25 damage per shot, dealing consistent damage at mid-range with a 30-round magazine. It unlocks at Rank 14 and provides good accuracy for medium-distance engagements. The SGX excels in close-range combat with an 830 fire rate and 25 damage, working best for players who constantly push objectives. The 30-round magazine feels adequate for the default loadout, though extended magazines help. This weapon is available from the start, making it accessible immediately.

The L110 provides reliable performance as the starting LMG with a 720 fire rate and 25 damage per shot. With a 100-round magazine by default, you can engage multiple enemies without reloading. This makes it excellent for holding positions. The AK-205 combines a 720 fire rate with surprisingly controllable recoil, dealing 20 damage per shot with a 30-round magazine. It has lower damage in the carbine category, but the minimal recoil means more shots connect. It unlocks at Rank 22.

The M87A1 shotgun delivers one-shot kills up to around 15 meters with 134 damage per shot and a 94 fire rate. The M1014 offers faster follow-up shots with its 200 fire rate and 115 damage, making it better for consecutive targets. The TR-7 brings high damage at 33 per shot with a 720 fire rate, performing well in close-range scenarios despite its 20-round magazine. The KV9 has an absurd 1080 fire rate with 25 damage per shot, though the 17-round magazine runs dry extremely fast. The AK4D provides long-range punch with 33 damage and 514 fire rate across 20 rounds.

M433, PW7A2, DRS-IAR, L85A3, SOR-556 Mk2, SCW-10, SL9, USG-90, SV-98, SG 553R, QBZ-192, M39 EMR, SVDM, M240L

These weapons work in specific situations but have clear weaknesses that prevent them from competing with higher-tier options consistently.
