SS Tier
These four characters are the absolute best in Anchor Panic right now. If you can get any of them, do it.
Karanissa
Karanissa is hands down the strongest character in the game for now. She's a Lightning Striker who can absolutely delete enemies. Her best trick is chaining kills - when she kills someone, she immediately attacks another target. Stack her with other Lightning characters and watch her damage go through the roof.
You should definitely try to get her, even if it takes a while. The game gives you plenty of free summons at the start, so you can actually pity her banner twice or even three times without spending money.
Tern
Tern is a Quantum Breaker who gets better as you progress. She's one of those characters that might not seem amazing at first, but becomes incredible later on. Great for long-term investment.
Echo
Echo is another Lightning Breaker who works perfectly with Karanissa. She boosts your team's attack and provides healing at the same time. Having both Echo and Karanissa on your team creates crazy synergy.
Lilira
Lilira is the top healer you can get. She's a Quantum element, gives shields, and heals your whole team. She does fall off in very late game content, but by then, you'll have other options.
S Tier
These characters are almost as good as SS tier and are definitely worth building.
Alice
Here's some great news - you get to pick Alice for free from the starter banner. She's the best choice because she's a Lightning element, which means she fits perfectly with Karanissa and Echo. The other free options (Merlot and Dawn) are good too, but Alice is way easier to build teams around.
Olivia
Olivia is running on the current banner, and she's solid. But honestly, go for Karanissa first since they cost the same amount to pull for.
Centaurea
Centaurea might be an SR character, but don't sleep on her. She's one of the best healers for free-to-play players until you get Lilira. Since she's SR rarity, you'll get tons of copies of her, making her really easy to upgrade. She heals a lot and can cleanse debuffs, which is super important.
Ling
Ling is perfect for Lightning teams because she reduces Lightning resistance on enemies. Pair her with Karanissa, Echo, and Alice for an unstoppable Lightning squad.
A Tier
The A tier has plenty of good options. Most of these will eventually get replaced by higher-tier characters, but they're great for building your account.
Antelope
Antelope deserves special mention here. She's an SR Quantum Defender who's basically the best tank for free-to-play players. She has tons of shielding and blocking, plus she's easy to upgrade since she's SR rarity. If you need a tank, she's your girl.
B Tier and C Tier
B-tier characters are decent but not amazing. They'll do the job if you don't have better options. C-tier characters are pretty weak, and you should replace them as soon as possible.
Streyne
One exception in B tier is Streyne - she's a free healer you get at the start. If your team keeps dying and you don't have Centaurea or Lilira yet, she can help keep you alive.

Here's what you need to know about building good teams in Anchor Panic:
