Valorant Agent Tier List for Every Map

Valorant has a huge roster of agents, so choosing the right one can sometimes feel overwhelming. On top of that, every map in Valorant has its own meta, meaning certain agents perform much better than others because of how their abilities interact with the map layout.

In this tier list guide, we will rank the best Valorant agents to pick for every competitive map in the game, from the strongest picks to the weakest.

Keep in mind that this tier list is based on the current meta and overall win rates. However, individual skill still matters the most. Even lower-tier agents can perform exceptionally well in the hands of players who truly understand how to use them effectively.

Valorant Agent Tier List for Every Map

In this Valorant tier list, I will be ranking the agents for every current competitive map. The criteria are as follows:

  • S Tier: Best agents to use. They have high win and pick rates in higher-ranked games, and their kits fit perfectly with the map layout.
  • A Tier: Great picks. They have slightly lower win and pick rates, but still possess strong kits that work very well on the map.
  • B Tier: Conditional picks. These agents have average win and pick rates, and should mainly be used when you have a specific strategy with your party.
  • C Tier: Not recommended picks. They have low win and pick rates, and their kits do not fit well with the map layout.

Sova is almost a must-pick agent on Ascent. His Recon Bolt works magnificently on both sites and Mid, proving useful in almost every situation on the map. As long as you know the proper lineups, Sova will always remain an S-tier pick on Ascent.

Jett and Phoenix are among the best Duelists to play on Ascent. Both sites often require quick movement to secure or close doors rapidly, something Jett excels at with the help of her mobility and smokes. Phoenix’s flash abilities are also extremely effective on Ascent, especially because the map contains many tight corners and close-range combat areas.

Breeze

Chamber is one of the best Sentinels to use on Breeze. The map features many long-range open areas, making it a perfect playground for a sniper-focused agent like Chamber. His utility works extremely well for both defending and attacking. On top of that, there are plenty of cover spots he can teleport to while still maintaining an aggressive playstyle.

Jett remains the dominant Duelist on Breeze. Her quick dash mobility and smokes allow her to clear sites rapidly, especially on a map filled with cover and wide angles.

Once again, Sova is an excellent Initiator pick. With the correct lineups, his Recon Bolt can reveal defenders hiding behind cover across the sites.

Fracture

Neon is a beast on Fracture. She can rapidly take control of sites from multiple entry points, while her stuns are able to hit many of the common cover positions around the map. Her wall also creates excellent pathways for entering both sites, especially since Fracture features several long-range entry angles. On top of that, her speed allows her to rotate quickly across this relatively large map.

Tejo is the perfect Initiator to use on Fracture. He can clear out B Tower exceptionally well, and with the right team support, his Ultimate can even be used for near-instant spawn kills. Overall, his entire kit feels perfectly suited for the layout and pacing of Fracture.

Haven

Sova is once again one of the best Initiators to use on Haven. The map has countless Sova lineups that have enabled strong plays since the early meta. His drone is extremely useful for pushing Garage and A Short, while his Recon Bolt can scan nearly every important corner on the sites. Most importantly, his Ultimate remains iconic for C Long post-plant clutch situations.

Killjoy and Chamber are both very important picks on Haven. The map is highly prone to lurkers and flank plays, so having utility that can detect or punish flankers proves incredibly valuable.

Jett and Phoenix also remain top-tier picks for this map. Their ability to quickly enter sites and catch enemies off guard around tight corners consistently works well on Haven.

Lotus

Fade is a top-tier Initiator to use on Lotus. With proper lineups, her Haunt can reveal many of the map’s important corners and hidden positions, which provides tremendous value for gathering information. Her Prowlers are also extremely effective for clearing the many tight corners scattered throughout the map.

Raze is especially strong on Lotus because the map features many elevated platforms that she can easily reach using her Satchel charges. Her grenade is also very useful for both aggressive attacks and defensive plays. Additionally, with the map offering so many pathway options, she can use her Ultimate to surprise enemies from unexpected angles.

Pearl

D

Astra is one of the best Controllers to play on Pearl. Her most valuable abilities on this map are Gravity Well and her Ultimate. On both sites, she excels as a post-plant controller. Splitting the sites on Pearl with her Ultimate provides a huge advantage for her team because of the map’s entry positions and layout.

Killjoy and Chamber are also extremely effective on this map thanks to their defensive utility. Chamber, in particular, stands out because of the long-range angles around B Site, making him an excellent sniper-focused Sentinel pick.

Iso is another strong option on Pearl due to his moving wall shield and Ultimate. He can use his Ultimate to quickly initiate fights on either site, creating space for teammates to push in. He also works very well as a counter to snipers on B Long, which is always valuable when his team is committing to enter the site.

Split

D

Cypher and Sage are both commonly picked on Split, and for good reason. Sage is one of the best Sentinels for controlling Mid, while Cypher excels at defending B Site with his hidden cameras, difficult-to-destroy tripwires, and effective one-way smokes at key entry points.

Skye is arguably the best Initiator on Split thanks to her controllable flashes. Gathering information about enemy positions is extremely valuable on this map, especially because many areas are easy to scout and predict. Her Trailblazer is also an excellent tool for clearing B Heaven and A Heaven safely.

Phoenix and Raze also consistently dominate on Split. Phoenix thrives because of his powerful flashes around tight corners, while Raze can take full advantage of the map’s elevated platforms and vertical spaces.

That concludes the Valorant agent tier list for every map. Again, keep in mind that these rankings are based on win rates, pick rates, and my own personal opinion. Use this tier list as a general guideline for choosing which agents to play on specific maps, but always prioritize team synergy above everything else.

I will make sure to update this page whenever the meta changes or the competitive map pool rotates.
